Events & Outings

Time on the ice. Time in the field.

The point isn't the fish. It's the two hours in the truck on the way there. Here's what we're building for the seasons ahead — and where to find what else is happening for veterans across Minnesota.

No dates on the calendar yet — and we won't invent any. The foundation is brand new: we're building our board, lining up partners and getting our first outings organised. The moment a date is real, it goes here and everyone on the list hears about it. Add your name and you'll be first to know.

What We're Building

Our outings

Every one of these came from the same idea: get people who served into the same place, outdoors, with no agenda beyond good company.

Ice Fishing

Winter on the hardwater — augers, heaters, a warm house and hours of conversation that doesn't need to go anywhere. The most Minnesotan way there is to sit with someone.

This Winter

Hunting & Fishing Outings

Days in the field and on the water through the seasons. Bring what you've got — and if you don't have gear, that's what the rest of us are for.

Seasonal

Gun Raffle

A community raffle to help fund the outings and gatherings ahead. We'll publish the rules, the prize and the licensing details before a single ticket is sold.

In Planning

Fundraising

Ways for individuals and businesses to put fuel in the tank — literally. Gas, bait, licences, a hot meal, a seat in the truck for someone who needs one.

Launching

An Inaugural Gala

A first-of-its-kind evening to launch the foundation properly — honour those who served, thank the people helping build this, and rally the community behind it.

Coming Soon

Got an idea for an outing?

The best outings come from the people who show up. If you know a lake, a piece of land, or a group that should be part of this — tell us.

You don't have to fish. You don't have to talk. You just have to show up.

We're not the only ones doing this, and we'd rather you find good company somewhere else than sit at home waiting on us. These organizations run their own events all year — check their calendars.
